Went on a Sat night, which is a 5 course meal. Not full menu. Will go again and looking into staying a night.
This is such a charming beautiful inn to visit. The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is phenomenal. It's in the town of Clarence NY which brings back memories from my past since I'm originally from the Buffalo area.
This place is a wonderful location for an over night getaway, or just to spend a romantic evening over dinner or a night out with friends. Leave the kids at home and enjoy some amazing food and a bottle of wine. My husband and I celebrate our anniversary here, and the food, along with the service, is always on pointe.
Bamboozled! My wife and I went here for dinner on our anniversary based on the glowing reviews but it looks like many of the reviewers were referencing the hotel portion and not the food. Both her filet and my salmon were overcooked; the server didn't come over to check on us for so long we had our wine and ultimately just made do. Other minor negatives (slightly musty smell, a couple minor surprise charges, etc) led to this review. A sympathetic hostess and a cute golden retriever earned an extra star.
Great food and service! The rooms are well set up. A great place to relax and enjoy yourself in a historic setting.
Take a day, make a reservation and come to visit and maybe stay a night or two.
